Edwin and Amanda Frommelt started Black Bear Asphalt in 2019, with one goal in mind, to get a better work, life balance and be able to provide for their family doing something they love. Although they like to believe they are the bosses the 3 baby bears are the true bosses.

My name is Amanda, I am registered Tseshaht and Sioux. My passion is my children and learning new things, which is how I ended up as one of the owners of Black Bear, my husbands passion became mine and here we are. We enjoy the outdoors and when we aren't at work you can usually find us near the water enjoying one of the many beautiful spots Victoria has to offer.
